My card to Gillian

I got this verse from Sandra ( Cotswold crafters) and it brought tears to my eyes and still does every time I read it.   It was just the perfect words to put on a card to give Giilian on the eve of her wedding  I did get a phone call saying "you have made me cry" along with her friend who was staying with her.

I used papers from what was left of the Papermania pads I had used on their invitations, lace from stash also the flowers, Sue Wilson's  bow die and Marianna foliage.

I have share this photo of the boys, it's not a moment we see often.

It didn't last long either, they do love each other but boys will be boys!!!

Thank everyone of you for your lovely comments on the photos, yes I am a proud mum and granny.
I will be doing some scrap booking over the winter as its memories that need to be kept.

I hope you all have a good weekend.

Thank you for all your well wishes for Gillian and Andrew, I will pass them on to them.  They had a brilliant day weather wise, couldn't have asked for better and the bonus was they were able to get married outside in the gardens of Fernie Castle.    Everything went so well, I haven't got any photos of Charlie and myself, I will get those posted when I get them from someone or from the friend of Gillian's who was the photographer. But here are some of the happy couple and some others.

My new SIL in the middle, my other SIL on the right and my son on the left.

My four beautiful grand children.

I just this before and after one of my little grandson.

A fantastic day had by all, now it's just the big ceilidh on Saturday night.

Thank you for calling and for all your comments on my wedding card and box, they are very much appreciated

Good morning I thought I would post today the card I made for Gillian and Andrew.  It's their wedding today, everything hopefully will go ok and that the weather will be kind and the sun will shine.    I will post some photos later.
I have have had lovely e-mails from friends and from blog friends wishing them all the best, which I have passed on to the happy couple. thank you every one.

A very simple card, I can't tell the embossing folder as its packed away just now while we have Charlie sister staying with us, as she is sleeping in what is usually my craft room. The sentiment is one that I borrowed the embossing folder from my friend Rita ( RMG designs)  the A&G are from X Cut alphabet die., the die cut on the box is also from X Cut.  Inside I stamped " you can't have enough happiness" all very simple.

I have missed posting, but life has been very busy, it will be the same for a while, I am hopeing that
all the unpleasantness that went on has passed, and when life returns to normal I will be able to start
posting again.

The happy couple, and she is laughing so things were good last night.

Thank you everyone for the support you showed Patricia and I, we both appreciate it.

Good afternoon, as the title says " it's a quick card".  I forgot it was my future son- in laws birthday today, naughty me.   Been very busy sorting out our spare room / my craft room, oh what a guddle and its seems to be getting in an even bigger one?

My card is a 7x7 one.
Papers are from my " works" 12x12 vintage pad.

Hand written sentiment
Tools from stash ( found when moving things)

Very simple and as I said very quick, feel really bad that I nearly forgot.

This post will be the last for a wee while, I am for one going to be very busy with visitors, looking after the girls a couple of times in the holidays and Gillian's & Andrews wedding.  Also after Patricia's blog being targeted, I feel I wont now be unable to say what I want without it causing hurt to Patricia and friends.   It's a sad day that you can not  write down how you feel and put things into perspective about things, that some people can cause hurt to others by it.

I thank each and everyone of you who have been their for me over the last couple of years, the support you gave me when life dealt me with cancer.  I WILL BE BACK,!!after the September when things get back to normal hopefully.  I wont like big sister has said let these folk WIN that's for sure.    Someone commented on Patricia's blog saying its " Harassment" or as I will say" Cyber Bullying". It is a crime, but unfortunately it goes on, I never thought it would happen here, but I have been told by my neighbour who is a detective that it's very common, but being dealt with too.

I will still be commenting as much as I can, card making and gift baskets are taking a back seat, stock has all been put away to make the room more liveable for our visitor,   She will still share the room with lots of craft stuff, it will be all neat and tidy, poor stuff won't no what to do it's never tidy!!.,

Take care.
