A SCRAP BOOK PAGE

Good morning every one I hope you all had a good day yesterday.   Thank you for all your lovely comments on my basket yesterday, I do appreciate all your  feed back.    Today I thought I would
show something different, also just letting you see I do use paper, ribbon and other bits.  I did do this page a few years ago.      I must get back into scrap booking.

Oh I think I am going to go on a learning curve again and learn how to show my scrap book pages .
Never mind I will practise.   Anyway I can't tell what papers I used, I know Patricia gave me the hat shapes and I put them on my papers and cut round them, ribbon will have been from my stash along with the little bows , gems and lace.
That's it for today and thank you for stopping by.  Have a lovely day what ever you may be doing.

  1. Hi Hazel, sorry thought I had commented yesterday on you basket but on looking back I did not. Your baby basket is so lovely so useful for a new baby. Never tried scrapbooking but your page is lovely, great to have a big sis to supply bits and pieces.

  2. Good morning,
A great "Scrapbook" page loving the colours.
I think a darker background would have shown it off better.

    Have a Great Day

  6. Hi Hazel

Very clever layout I like it a lot! The secret with photographing your projects is to use a strong colour to photograph it against if your project is pale so it stands out and to try and choose a colour from the project as well it would have looked ten times better against a lilac/purple background. If you are using strong colours in your project photograph it against a lighter or complementary colour.

I often try different backgrounds to photograph things against until I have got as near as I can with what I have got to use. But you know it is all about trying things and experimenting. Always a good idea to preview your post, make sure it is all spaced out right before publishing. It also give you an opportunity to see if your picture looks right e.g stands out or does the background make it fade away. Hope you don't mind my offerings I just want to help hun :)
